"Patience is power.

Patience is not an absence of action;

rather it is "timing"

it waits on the right time to act,

for the right principles

and in the right way.”

― Fulton J. Sheen

The Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate the achievements of the past year in all aspects of our life. This year one of the challenges will be about pessimism or even a desire to hide and not take responsibility. Instead of hiding there is a sense of stepping back and reflecting. Around 1st of August is traditionally a good time to do this but this Solstice it feels there is a need to do this more often..

It is really important to heed the message of patience and timing. The expression 'fools rush in where angels fear to tread' is very apt. This is not about being inactive but reflecting that things may not be as they first appear. Love of power can manifest in many different ways and perhaps thinking about how we can misuse control ourselves can be useful. Are we presenting an impenetrable mask in certain areas of our lives? One of the ways of letting go of masks this Solstice is to have healthy boundaries instead.

There will be opportunities to heal the indecision and confusion around us and have a clearer sense of purpose and direction. Another of the challenges is to avoid using our mind alone or becoming overwhelmed by feelings. This is a good time to use our creativity, imagination, writing to bring our intellect and intuition together. Being resourceful and not giving up on ourselves and others is also stressed at this time alongside being caring and understanding. We will discover new abilities and new solutions as we approach the Autumnal Equinox.

Happy reflection, togetherness and exploration!
